In my experience pyle is worse than boss but both are crap

Are there any amp brands I might want to avoid other than the obvious ones like boss and pyle ect. Like do brands like mb quart, hifonics, precision power actually do rated power without overheating? Haven't had much experience with amps like that so I just want to avoid wasting money in the future

those brands don't get much love around here. They'll probably tell you to go for something like a sound qubed HDS315 SoundQubed HDS315 or a Sundown Audio x series subwoofer X Series

I only have experience with kenwood and pioneer but I found the kenwood to be way easier to navigate so if it were my money I'd buy it. However I've heard nothing but good things about alpine and I've loved their speakers and amps. Differences on the headunits are pretty negligible though

Well the ones you posted don't have a full wrap around connection so it's not as clean of a signal. Other than that these are just long and easier to put in different places

Underpowering your subs doesn't hurt them directly its usually caused by someone turning the volume up really high because the subs are underpowered and playing quiet. use this series of videos to set your gains and hopefully you'll stop blowing subs

Me too, the stuff I paid $1200 for i could have had for around 700

My first was terrible too lol. Some rockford p1's I paid $110 a piece for in two seperate truck boxes I got a garage sale. Then just cranked the amp up all the way and lett it play haha
