un your rca wires and power wires on either side of the car, at least 18 in apart. and dont let them cross shorten your ground wires as much as possible, and of course make sure its a good connection. they sell a filter you plug in to your amp, only if all else fails.

It's light blue. And he's talking about the ground for your amp not your battery. Make sure to sand it down to make a sure connection on the chassis.
