Although you don't appear to have a subwoofer, I would still suggest a 5ch amp, that way if you choose to add one in the future you don't have to buy another amp again. Most manufactuerers these days will have a suitable 5ch amp. The speakers are Pioneer, So something like the Pioneer GM-D9705...

That's a Mono amp, made for purely running subwoofer's only. You will need another Amp to run the mid's and high's. Or replace it with a 5 CH amp that can do both.

You really need to determine a budget first on what you are willing to spend, there is no point in people saying "oh brand X" because that might be 10x more than you have to spend. Work out a budget and then people can make suggestions from there.

Dont mix different size subwoofers and amps etc. It just makes for a nightmare. Personally i would be changing out the Jensen amp as its probably not even making half of the power it claims it is.

The DM1000A at 1ohm, Puts out the same power as the DM1500A at 2ohm. Would i be better to run the 1500A and wire it down to 2ohm for efficiency sake ?

The amp only provides as much power as it can, So the subs wouldn't be getting 1500w. Subs only take the power they are given, They don't draw power if that makes sense.
