Yeah... I thought that too, read my post again - that's what I was getting at when I said the battery might be getting pulled down... but why would it cycle off and on? if there is something wrong it's got to be in the form of an intermittent connection, or something that turns on and off...

Okay... I just put in a Pioneer DEH4900, in my 1980 Malibu. The rest of the system is a hifonics XX zeus running the sub, and an older Lanzar vibe amp running the highs in the cabin. Now, the wiring was done pretty well, but the parts of the harness I spliced into - I'm sure they're fine, but...

Depends how thick the plexi is, and how careful you are about supporting the speakers. I'd try to avoid it unless you know what you're getting into.

Yep, had them knock on all the body panels, pull out the creeper and have a poke around underneath as far as they could see (not far, the car's too low to get under), unload all my sh!t and look at it, take the speaker out to peek in the box, etc. Granted the car looks like a bit of a suspect...
