anyone else know anything about car sound here?

I can’t decide which is better the JL VR525 CX or the Kenwood KFC-XR501 Dual mag speakers. Or what else would you suggest in this price range? Unfortunately living in a small city in South Africa prevents me from hearing these speakers before I buy them so any input would be much appreciated.

I want to spend about $100 per pair.

In reguards to midrange speakers between 5.25 and 6.5 inch. Which would you choose, i cant decide.

I can find it on the site, only a 7856 and not a 7856r, and there seems sto be quite abit different. But if you could tell me what the REG ON/OFF and the HI-FI/STABLE/NORMAL settings do, that would be helpful.
