Only thing I don't like about the pioneer recommendation is its a 2V deck...for the same money you can get at least 4V output from a Kenwood DDX393...I don't know why you would want 2V output if you are gonna amplify anything.

Your main concern on that car shouldn't be cost...it should be who is doing the work...do they have proof, are they certified, is their shop insured if they jack your car up, etc.
