those were some heavy duty wires for a preamp. what were they 10 gauge? where did you put the amps?

i imagine a sealed enclosure is best for this. i was thinking of putting together 2 jl 10" w6v2 in a parallel config running off an alpine pdx 1000/1 . i hate boomy, am not into competitions but also cannot stand thin, washed out drum riffs. Is there any benefit to building a sealed enclosure...
