    Police Radar

You must be using all bogeys "A" mode or whatever it's called. Use advanced logic mode "L" and it won't false as much, about the same amount as the x50 does. I use mine in "L" around the city and then on the highway/backroads, etc I use the "A" mode and it works great, a lot better than my x50...

    Police Radar

I love my V1. I also have an 8500 x50 and I can honestly say the v1 outperforms it in just about every way possible. The v1 seems a lot more sensitive than my x50 ever was. The v1 picks up instant on when the cars in front of me are hit....my x50 never did that, it only picked it up when I was...

    Here's some hatorade........

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that it wasn't to keep prices down, but because the motor wouldn't fit in the door....anyway, some part of the electric window wouldn't fit lol. But yeah if it really bothers you, there's some pretty decent aftermarket kits out there for them.

They come with black plastic side mirrors from the factory along with manual back windows too . Sorry we can't all afford vdub greatness .

    Here's some hatorade........

Wow lol lots of misinformation in this post. SRT= Dodge's performance team/engineers. The SRT-4 is a lot different from a regular neon, just like the WRX STi is a lot different from a regular WRX. It has a different engine, transmission, wheels, brakes, exhaust, suspension, seats, etc. Turbo...

    Go fast guys?

Yeah valentine 1 wins hands down. I've had the valentine 1 and the x50. I used the x50 for a few months, then decided to try out the v1. The v1 is far better at detecting radar over a hill/around a corner than the x50. It also gives far better protection against instant-on by detecting it from...

    Volkswagen Reliability and Maintenance?

I'm sure there are a few Volkswagen people on here. I'm looking at buying a 2003 GTI 1.8t with a 5-speed manual transmission, that seems to be in good condition. Are there any major problems with these cars that I need to know about (transmission, engine, electrical, paint, etc)? I've always...

    good lowering kits

The only real way not to sacrifice ride quality is to go with a shock/spring combo or kit. The best option IMO is to go with the Nismo Shock/Spring kit which will cost around $900. Another option would be the Eibach Pro-Kit with Koni shocks, which will cost about the same. For the same money...

RSX type S vs. SVT Lightning

The Lightning definitely shouldn't have a problem taking an RSX-S in the 1/4. They're high 14 second cars stock with a good driver. The regular RSXs, I believe are around mid-high 15 second cars. They don't have much torque, maybe 140 ft-lbs, which means they aren't much from a stop, but...

Fighting with Nissan North America (Altima owners beware/read)

There are recalls for both of those problems. I've got the same motor (QR25) as you in my car, an '03 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. You can find the recalls on http://www.nissanhelp.com. I've read that Nissan has been giving people shit for the pre-cat recall though. Technically it's supposed to...
