ok. I didn't know if it would be a good idea to throw that much power at them in that big of box. Probably going to go with 3^3 at 36 then. Hopefully i'll get them in mid week and biuld the box this weekend. Still two feet of snow on the ground up here.

You may want to keep your eye on ebay, I know that there are recones floating around out there. Currently there is only one available for the punch hx2 8 and 10. But worth keeping an eye on.

I know type r 12"s were te talk of the forum awhile ago, and that giving them around 1k rms in the right ported enclosure was suggested as best. But what can the 10's handle? I know they are rated at 500wrms. Can they take more in the right enclosure? Looking to change things up in my setup and...

To the OP, if you know so much more than everyone trying to help you why do you bother asking? Likely if you can't get whats going on here your install won't be up to par. So your dreams of going BOOM BOOM are most likely shat.
