personally i think that one sub sounds better than two because it sounds cleaner to me, but that is sound quality. Your probably gonna hit pretty hard if you take what was powering two subs and put it into one, not to mention the sound quality will for sure improve.
yeah i just got off my azz and fixed the crossovers i had the speakers set to about 50hrtz which is too low for three ways, thats what i should have my sub set at. I had to turn them up to about 100 hrtz before the static went away.
I bought some alpine 6x9 sps-6939s and when i play songs with alot of midbass and highs i hear alot of static. But when there is alot of base or when it's really high i dont hear it. I went to a installer and he said to turn up the high pass filter i'm not sure though?
sub and 6x9's
I really don't understand how someone could care why i decided to put my, keyword (MY) speakers there. GET over it, oh and i don't recomend you even by these speakers cuz they sound like sh%t. I hear all kinds of static when there are highs. So actually at this point i don't even...
sub and 6x9's
I don't really feel like dampening the car because I want to sell it soon. I have put the sub in may different places in the car including facing the other way and I found that I liked it the best facing the back seat. All I wanted was an average system that I could listen to. Im...
It just pisses me off when people can't get enough enjoyment out of just listening to their stereo, they have to show it off at school. The thing that makes me more mad is when people show off their stereo and it actually sucks. They will have that look on their face like "hahaha check it out...
My dad went through the same problem, he spent weeks designing a pefect enclosure that would not interfere with the seats or arm rest. He made a enclosure for 2 jlw3 tens. He doesn't even have to harness the box its such a snug fit and it has a groove down the middle so that the arm rest can go...
Not to be mean or to flame but you really have nothing to be upset about. If you were really showing off like you said you were then you should of seen it coming. I bet your probably one of those people with the giant car audio banner across your window. Those things practically advertise your...
sub and 6x9's
There were alot of reasons I chose to stick the speakers on the sides of my sub like"wings". One of the reasons was the rear deck has 4 inch holes in it. Also 6x9's obviously sound better in boxes. I turn the treble down just a little in the rear so the hear the front more. I'm...
sub and 6x9's
cuz im lazy and there was no room with the sub in the way and iI didn't want to mount them on the top of the deck because that would look gay
