Thanks for the reply. I couldnt get a multimeter today. will try tomorrow I got the battery tested at advanced auto parts and it was good(test showed 13.17v, 426cca, 113 F degrees) I cleaned my amp's ground. The problem still remains. Also every once and awhile my car wont start(happened...

My amp has recently been going into protection at medium volume and then it would continuously go into protection with very low volume(barely audible). What should i do to test to see if the amp is messed up or something with the electrical system(12 year old car and the wiring looks corroded)...

i have no idea how search for amps with so many brands out there and different models and years i cant seem track down the right one. I'm looking for a 4 or 3 channel amp that is 75+ @ 4ohm (2 channels) 500 @ 4ohm (bridged or 3rd channel) i'm also looking to buy it so its ok if you recommend...

are the wire harnesses inter-changable between different h/u models. like the wires that plug into the into the h/u.(so i dont have unsolder and then solder again) thank you
