The ports are painted black and look good. Thanks though. My concern is the carpet looks ragged where its cut out around the ports. I was looking for a "flange" to cover that area with a lip and then go down into the port a inch or so just to look better.

The stock amp takes high level inputs. so you will haft to get a diagram and a high level converter. I have replaced the stock cd player with a Pioneer. So im just going to run new power, grounds, RCA's, and run all new 16 gauge speaker wire. the stock stiff looks really thin around 20gauge.

They are a 100v capacitor. They have a 6db per octave slope. I have a set at 200htz and did not notice much difference in sound. A little less excursion on the speaker.
