In my last system, I had 2 12" Kicker Free-Air in a vented box. The vent was in the center of the box, with openings at the back of the vent into each chamber. Was this the wrong way to do it?

I planned on doubling their plan for the single sealed enclosure. I looked at some of they're vented enclosures and those are very detailed! How will this combo compare to my current set-up? Louder, cleaner, etc? I'm new to all these brands. Where I live Kicker and JL rule.
