You could test the sub using a AA battery. Did you check your power wire fuse? It's possible the light is still coming on because the amp is still getting some voltage but not enough to power it up completely.

And you work on cars where?? But seriously, it's ignition on, press valet button once, and alarm should shut off, then turn the ignition off. The valet button may need to be pressed one, two or three times depending on how the installer set it.

Oh yeah, forgot about those. Blue and Green will both go to the green wire on the mux port, I would diode isolate just in case. But I would definitely run ground to GWA (Ground when armed) it prevents false alerts.

Set your meter to AC voltage, disconnect the speaker wire leads while leaving the RCA's plugged in. Play something on the CD player and put your leads for your DMM on the speaker wire terminals. It should show changing AC voltage. I would also try just running the RCA's straight to the amp and...

Straight to the battery your probably, just make sure it's clean and tight on there. Do what the previous poster said and run an ipod/mp3 player whatever right in to the inputs on the amp and see what happens.

So if it has nothing to do with the module then why would the speaker wires run through it? The amp only powers the sub in those if I remember right. Try switching the front speaker wires around at the radio and see if the sound switches sides.

Because it "seems" fine doesn't mean it is.

It's possible the radio is still sending out a small amount of voltage on the RCA's, I wouldn't think they would fail at the same time, but if the radio only had one set of preouts I could see it happening.

508d requires its own power and ground, so just cut the black and red on the harness for the 508d, use your GWA for ground and just 12v for the red wire, the tilt sensor should be fine just plugging it in to the mux port.
