one person told me they were blown but i did a ohm reading with a multimeter and got 3 ohms

im using a zapco ref350 so their getting about 125 watts a side. i know they can take more power but regardless they just flat out dont move at all even when i push on the cone. ive never seen a speaker that wont move when you push the cone in

i just bought some brand new boston spz60 and when i push on the cone of the woofer their stiff as a board. they play and produce sound (not much) but their just isnt any movement. i dont think they are blown. i tested them with a multimeter and it showed 3 ohms. Whats the deal?????? btw sorry...

yeah using the whole spz60 set. and def triple checked all the wiring and yeah when i switch the hp lp full setting on my amp the sound is the same. so amp problem?

yeah speakers are very stiff, wont move at all when i push them. whats that mean? i dont see how i could blow them both at teh exact same time first time ever being played. especially when i check all the connections and setting all seems to be right. im wondering if something is worng with my...

All highs and no mids. im not getting any movement from the woofer. i know its playing because without the tweeter hooked up i still get sound but i theres no 1" xmax or any at all for that matter. if i place my finger on it i feel the vibration but i know theres supposed to be more than that...

**** finally...thank you crx4luke. i found the correct green light and used that as an ignition wire instead of the yellow like my friend who is supposed to know all about car aduio and who swore up and down he looked up online at istalldr or somethin and it said to use yellow.

yeah man i checked every fuse i have. and i have one yellow wire and about 4 wires different shades of green

i checked all of the fuses they were all fine. and i only have one yellow wire.

yeah i have a test light, the organe power wire is getting power. right now i have my red ignition wire from my alpin hooked up to the yellow wire on my truck but ill try the brown one

its not powering up at all. and my radio just slides out doesnt screw. and so your saying i use either the pink or brown wire from my truck as my ignition wire?

ive read that i may have to run my own ignition wire so you may be right. and mine doesnt have onstar or bose

not from what ive looked up online but hell i cant even get mine to work so i guess u cant take my word for it
