swop the channels round, so 1 and 2 go tot he sub, 3 and 4 go to your components. that should let you know if the amp is faulty/sub faulty.

I think its jsut coming down the the amo being way too powerful. I'd suggest going with a smaller amp, maybe something like the kicker kx550.4

sounds like a deck problem. take it to your local audio installer and have it bench tested

Isn't there anywhere that sells like 10 metres of Cable? i ahve already seen the ends for like $2. and even if it costs a little more in the end.. at least it will look tidy. problem is with it being a boat wiring is a lot harder to hide
