Personally, I think the P880 would be the way to go. The auto TA and Eq works great in my truck.

I have used Pioneer for the last ten years or so with no problems. A P88, P99 and now a P880.

You can get the Pioneer P880PRS in that price range.

Pioneer P880PRS

Yes, you can run the rears of the head unit amp and the remaider as above. Personally I would run the front and rear of off the four channel and buy a sub amp.

For the money the P880 is the way to go. The auto TA and EQ worked great in my truck.

I would recommend the 880. I installed mine a couple of weeks ago and found it to be as good as advertised.
