p880 or excelon 990?
Personally, I think the P880 would be the way to go. The auto TA and Eq works great in my truck.

I have used Pioneer for the last ten years or so with no problems. A P88, P99 and now a P880.

Is this setup possible with my DEH-880PRS?
Yes, you can run the rears of the head unit amp and the remaider as above. Personally I would run the front and rear of off the four channel and buy a sub amp.
