They are high but so is JL and some others. The power series to to rich for my blood but a constant power amp isn't going to be cheap.

I agree all of Rockford's current amps Prime, Punch, and of course Power are pretty solid and do rated power.

I have the exact opposite problem when I sell on ebay, I try and do a fixed price with the best offer option and everybody offers retarded low ball amounts.

All things being the same: power, enclosure, etc which would you choose? Which do you think is more durable, who has better support if problems arise? Thanks for any info.

I do agree the few times the subs got hot on me that they were getting a clipped signal. Now that I set the gain properly they have not gotten hot, while they do sound good I just feel like I can get a little more if I find a sub that is better suited for this box or just go to a set of 10's...

Like I said earlier the gain is properly set now and I am not happy with the output, that why Im looking for something different.

I just got done looking at the DC level 2 12, they recommend 1.25 cubic feet ported. Would these sound better than the SA's since the box is a better fit for them?

This is not a bad idea, i would just have to raise the seat a little more because right now the subs are recessed into the box. If I ran a 3/4" mdf adapter the excursion would be way higher than before.
