how do i tweak the crossover settings?

In early december i got a new sound system put in my car (head unit, front component speakers, back 2-way speakers). I am now discovering that i might need an amp. Whenever i turn up the volume really loud the sound gets fuzzy. I have to turn the bass way down so that the fuzzyness goes away...

car is a '93 grand cherokee laredo-not sure of the speaker size, im looking into that price range: -speakers: less than $100 for a pair -amp: less than $200 -sub: 10", less than $200 what to u think about this deal...

also, where should i buy the items?

I am looking to put a completely new audio system into my car. What would you reccomend for: -speakers -amp -sub I'm looking for products with reasonable prices. Cheap, but not so cheap that the product sucks. Thanks for your help.
