i know that RE suggests 175wrms for the 8"s....but do you think it would be able to handle 185wrms daily? is the life of the sub going to drop considerably?

well i know that its going to take me over a year to get everything i want installed, and running the way i want it. i know the basics of fiberglass, so i can fiberglass what kick pods i need. other than that, im here to read...but there arent many posts that i find about all out SQ.

oh...and what does everyone think of the re8s for strictly sq? what subs do you guys think would do better in the sq comps?

anyone have any personal experience with the rockford/denon hu? http://www.sounddomain.com/shop/item.pl?sku=ROCRFX8250TI&vq_id=none ive heard nothing but praise about denon HU...but can anyone think of any disadvanteges?

^^^ yeah thats what i was thinking...just try a Y jack for phone cables. in actuality, im not sure if the connectors are standard phone cable size...you might need RJ45 jacks or something of that nature. im sure Fry's (or your local computer store) would have what you need.

well im powering a CSX...im going to need alot more power than 1500 watts but im not doubting hifonics, ive ran them in a previous car. badass amps....i just need more wattage

well, several people have told me that they do their rated power...and i can find them all over the place at a great price. im open to any suggestions you have for amps with a better dollar/watt ratio

im trying to accomplish building a SQ daily driver, and a one note wonder SPL car all in one. im pretty set on the SPL portion of the vehicle, just waiting for my tax return. as for the SQ, im still looking into different things. i have NO knowledge what so ever of what equipment does well in SQ...
