I only have about ~500 watts and .7cu.ft sealed for each sub. Will either of those work? Plus I have to put an absolute cost limit of no more than $500 total.

Ok, I'm about to blow $480 on a set of Alpine Type R's unless somebody stops me real soon.

Still lookin for subs. Turns out I didn't smoke the voice coils though, I cut one of the dust caps off to have a look, and it turns out the coil&former ripped loose from the cone and spider.

Unless you can get em real cheap, I wouldn't waste money on P2's or P3's. I had p3's before I got my RE SR's, and I can tell you the RE's may not look as beefy, but they walk all over the P3's, and they cost less. Having said that, I do still have a pair of P3 12's, one is in perfectly good...

As far as price goes, thats not a bad deal, but I'll have to pass. I've heard those subs before and wasn't impressed, they were taking up twice the trunk space and twice the power I have, but didnt seem to get any louder.

I've been lookin at infinity kappa 682.9's. They're supposedly very efficient and are rated 100 watts rms, plus they are 2 ohm, so Ill get full power from my amp. Im thinkin they would be the loudest option. I know that some people talk smack on infinity, but it seems that most of them complain...
