im in the same situation only im putting mine in a sealed box around 1.1 ft^3, same sub but with copper coils so same problem..... i was looking at the kenwood 9103d but ive heard some bad stuff about their amps i dont wanna spend much over $150 so somebody help me out?

anyone know of a better amp for around 150 for this?...kenwoods arent looking too great to me anymore

way too poor....that would be over twice my budget :-/

alright now for a couple quick lil spec questions.....the site says the sealed box should be between .8-1.6 what should i do about that?......and kenwood 9104d or 9103d amp?......lastly is the copper coil worth the extra 5 bucks?

well I haven't heard any better ideas for the money than the ssd... so I guess I'm stuck between the 12 and Its... and earlier people were causing problems about that

so anyways, i mainly listen to rock and techno.....i want it to be able to hit down to 20-25 hz....but still respond well to double bass hits for rock....i occasionally listen to some rap...so it would be nice to have something that wont sound like shit for the longer lows and still hit hard and...

does anyone have any better driver ideas for that application for around the same price?

because it's 64 more plus however much more it will cost to get a bigger amp to power it, i kind of figured that a larger sealed box might be fine, other forums have said it would be fine in a 2 and the q is recommends 2-2.6 ft^3 i was thinking for the ssd somewhere from 2-2.2?

sealed....its not just an spl type is it?.....i know the site doesnt offer a recommended sealed size but ive found a few places saying it wouldnt be a problem
