hey, i used to run my old kicker L7 4-ohm dual voice coil sub with just the one voice coil hooked up because i never knew anything about dual voice coils. (bad idea) later on i fried it.. now i just orderd a kicker L7 2-ohm version off e-bay and im going to hook it up like this: pos from amp...

so thats a for sure thing that it will sound better seeing that i was only running 150watts (i know thats not a lot of watts but it sounded pretty good on the 1 vc)

hey, I had a kicker L7 duel vc 4-ohm sub running off my amp with only 1 vc hooked up ... (because i really never knew how DVC worked) ( the sub ended up not working anymore.) now i jus have bought a kicker L7 duel vc 2-ohm sub and im wiring it like this when it comes in: pos from the amp to 1...

Sony xm-460gtx i know i know sony is crap but i really like how it hits for the little wattage and also if u wire it like that isnt that running it at 4 ohms?

i swear to god man... on my life it hit hard my buddy has a 1000watt rockford fosgate amp that only made the sub hit alittle bit harder then this amp so i dunno ... i know 150rms isnt alot but it did hit hard..

oh yea and i am buying a new amp a soon as i get some $$$ but can u tell me if this is going to work please
