Yea I did, i didn't relize what they did until recently, they are supposed to give you a little length to play around with aren't they?

I think I'll just play around like you guys suggest, I just have to wait til' my new wiring gets here, the place where I had my install done cut all my wires short, so they are only long enough to reach the amps where they are know.

ok, i was wondering cause even with the gains all the way down I'm still getting pretty good sound only thing is I have to turn my hu up to about 20-23 its a pioneer deh-p740mp it says the pre outs are 6v, but I think they are more around 4v myself
