I ran a 450/4 and a 1000/1 on a stock GSR alt for a while with only minor light dimming on heavy bass. Check that alt asap.

If you like rockford and you just want bump get the P3s in the rockford built ported box and power them well....they will rip.

My issue with people using the PS3 in the car is it really needs a high def display to show what it is made of. Graphics in a car wont be much better than a PS2 and the game selection isn't that hot on PS3 yet. Only reason to do it would be coolness factor.

Those who say RFs new amps sucks probably never used one. I find the newer punch amps to provide great power for the dollar while being very reliable and backed by a company you know will be there for a long time to honor your warranty. That is something you can never expect out of these...

Once you learn to read you will not ignore my statement about pride of ownership. When I open my trunk and show off JL i am making a much bigger statement than showing off some company half the world has never heard of.

Get a 1000/1. It was made for going down to 1.5 ohm and putting out its rated power.

I find the CDT components **** compared to the JLs. I have actually owned both and I can say without a doubt I will never buy CDT again. Hop off the internet bandwagon and listen to a weel setup JL system. They cost more because they offer you more. JL has more money for R&D than CDT...
