That seems like some serious power your might be hitting them to hard. I've hard of guys getting them set at an install shop and then turning on the bass boost or something dumb and blowing something in the crossovers. I know I had an issue where the tweeters would blow. The tweeters were...

That's a really good price. I was a sucker and got my d3100 for a lot more. And they are hands down the best battery in car audio right now. My meager 950 watt system can play a whole 2 movies at a drive in, with no problems.

I like the sound with the crossovers. I could run an active set up but with those crossover I really don't see a need. The Fronts are in the stock locations so there isn't much to look at. As for the sub yea it takes a beating with tripods and stuff, I need to think of something soon...

Scottie is a great guy to deal with. Sumitt has amazing prices on these things now. I just picked up a d3100 for 311 including shipping. It will fit right in the trunk of my charger, the kinetik has raised terminals so my trunk matt won't shut unless I modify it.

Can't go wrong with hertz. I have the MLK2's in my car and love them.
