The SWR-1222D and SWR-1022D subs have the same power handling and I was wondering if they r the same thing just different sizes? I hurd somewhere if two subs of the same brand with the same power handing and the only differences is size, that they r the same. Am I wrong?

I'm new here so I'll start off by saying hi. I have a Alpine CDA-7897 head unit that has been laying around for a while and it needs to be repaired. Should I send it to Alpine to get repaired or is there someplace else you would recammend? thanks
