how do i make the vent fatter with out messing up the hz

well now that i moved the box and looked at it there was a towel in the vent and its alot louder than it was but it dont explain y the coils read that has anyone ever checked what the coils wired to gether come out to

yes the guy i bought it off of only had it for 3 months but the funny thing is when i wired the coils together it read 1.5 ohms when i first got it now its 1.8 and not as loud as it was, it use to open my roof consel all the compartments now im lucky to get one to open i dont get it..

weird smell comin from the sub like its blown? and i run it at 1 ohm and it reads out 1.8 i have a ap15001d thats not been pushed more than half gain so i dont think the sub is blown i hope not atleast..

ok so im gonna do a 5.5-6 cubes and what do u mean by port area? i said i wanted to put the vent right across the bottom of the box with the sub facing up and vent facing my back door. so a 42 in across the bottom and like 2.5in wide is enough right? ill give u guys the dimensions of what space...

ok so help me out with this lol ive got alot of room to work with basically i dont care how deep it is as long as its 19.5 in tall and 43.5 in wide and tuned for around 33- 35 hz or give me a better hz to tune it to i have no clue on this thing i just want it to hit lows good and not so mid...

my last subs 2 12in cvx's tuned for 28 was nasty thats what i like thats y i want it tuned for 33

ok so 7 cubes would be sufficent for 1 of these subs? and the sub will be mounted facing up and the vent is gonna be facing my back door this box will be about 43.5 inches wide and 28 inches deep 19.5 inches tall (height) so give me an idea on what to do please ?

well will it still sound good if i use a 9 cube box the reason i ask is cuz im thinking about buyin another 15

is 9 cubic feet with out subtracting the vent and sub displacement too big for one of these 15s in a grand cherokee? btw im tuning it for around 34-33 hz

i had 2 12 cvx's and i tuned my box to 27 with a aq1200d and it hit deep and tight i cant stand bass that high the box that came with my sub is suppose to be tuned for 37 and thats anoying its loud but not my bass preferance if i were u i would tune it for a solid 32 33 and u do have about 4-5...

ill check the volts on both tomarrow and when im just sitting there at idle it drops moderatly not real fast but u can deffinectly tell its dropping

well I started witj th big 3 then put in a stinger 17 I think and today put on a 136 amp alt and still the same btw im running all 0 gauge wire a ap1500d and aq hdc3 15 all in a 1996 jeep grand cherokee v8 any ideas?
