I've also had good experiences with the Orileys Super Start Agm bateries. I have a sa12 powered by a kicker 1200.1 and two kicker 360.4 amps on stock electrical. I barely get any dimming.

What's size gauge is your main power wire going to the amp?

I've been using a Kicker 1200.1 on a Sundown Sa12, daily, for over 2 years now and I've been pleased with it so far. I'm also running a kicker 360.4 for the doors and I'm on stock electrical in a 2011 Kia Optima.

I think this guy might be happy with a Sundown Sa12 on 1000 rms power.

I love having a touch screen double din. It would be worth considering.

I do have kenwood 3.5 inch speakers in the dash powered by the headunit. If I go active like this and only use the 4 channel amp for the front woofers & tweeters, would the dash speakers be a problem?

I am using that same kicker amp to push one sa-12 dual 4 ohm sub. I'm not totally sure it will be strong enough to run two sa-12 at the same caliber thou.

I have the the same speakers in all 4 doors being ran by a kicker cx360.4 and I get the same issue if I run them below 100 hz. But I haven't tried a -24 slope yet. These speakers are supposed to be capable of playing 40-20,000 Hz.
