Yeah....just disconnect the yellow clip, there is a little press button type thing you have to press to disconnect from the receiver. Than just CAREFULLY pry the red clip from the side off the top of the conector and just pull the yellow cover off the antenna. Here is a pic after it is apart...

what does the connector look like, I have a 2006 Dodge Ram and the end of the antenna wire had a yellow plasic square w/ a red clip to hold it in place. If yours is the same setup, I can help you out. Let me know

yeah...your right about the 2 IDQ10 2ohm DVC's, but i really think the SS rl-i are more suited for the box i am using. I may be wrong. anybody got any ideas on solid amps for 2 SS rl-i 10's???? Thanks

****....I think you should try to get the subs a little closer to you, also like a few guys said earlier in this thread, make sure that box is secured properly.

If i have to get a new amp anyway, I guess i still have to choose... 2 - SS rl-i10 2 - Diamond D3-10's 2 - IDQ 10's well....looks like im going to have to try to pick from the 3 above...any recommendations on a new amp?

I think I am going to go with 2 SS rl-i 10's due to the fact that I can get them in SVC 4 ohm. I was also considering the Diamond D3-10's or the IDQ 10's, but neither one of them come with SVC. I have a JL 500/1 and would wire the 2 SS rl-i's in parallel and would end up at a 2 ohm load...

those look like they would fit that box well....and ive been reading a lot of good things about the IDQ's this was another option that somebody reccommended - DIAMOND TDX10

It doesnt have to 6", I know a W7 will fit and it has a 6.55 in. magnet diameter that SS rl-i sounds good....how does that compare to the RE?
