The Home Depot in Batavia has that stuff. I work there. It's 10in x 33ft or so for 19.97, the other stuff has an aluminum back and is 4in x 33ft for 14.97. I used 5 layers of the wider stuff in the trunk of my 04 civic coup and it worked great. My only sugestion is to use a heat gun to warm it...

just buy a wire adaptor kit for your car and it'll be mad easy to hook up the new one.

check the connection on your remote amp wires, if it's a bad connection the amp will turn off sometimes

Your idle controler is probibly bad. Has your engin over heated lately cuz sometimes they go bad when it gets to hot. it happened in my old car and the part was like 60 $

Go big or go home! If you plan on adding alot to it then you could use those. I guess it couldn't hurt to have a 3 farad cap with that system, it shouldn't hurt it.

Well I don't know if this will help but here it goes. I have Logitech's 1000Watt Z-680's for my comp and when I crank the hell out of them I with a bass cd there is an odor. Not so much a bad smell, just like the smell of new plastic or silicone. But it goes away after I turn them down.

I would deff go with a bandpass cuz it'll make them sound the loudest and hit the hardest. I have 2 JL 10'a in a triple enclosure bandpass box in my old car and they hit hard and sound great with rap.

Just wrap duct tape around the engin side of the firewall, stuff the whole with cottonballs and duct tape the inside of the firewall. Yeah I know, it's rigged, but it'll work. Or you can buy a new rubber sleeve which is a pain to install if it's a tight space.

Well being the system I have, I installed a switch between my HU and my amp so I can turn it off at will. I have tested this. I can only get local stations when it's on, and when I turn in off I can get the distant ones with no problem. ooh yeah and my system: -Controlers -Kenwoon Excelon...
