Not usually. They react differently than subs do. Instructions---- Construct a box. Cut a hole for the 6X9 in speakers to mount into. Secure speakers in hole with screws. Done. Not too much sience involved in these.

Wait, your navigation won't work without the parking break on? Or is it he DVD side. This year Pioneer has made it impossible to work around the DVD side. It's actually tied directly to one of the navigation gyros so it knows when you're moving.... But the navigation should work all the time...
