Thanks man but I found it for cheap on parts-express and decided to get it from there since I needed a few other things from there. Maybe someone else might need some!

Anyone got any extra carpet they're willing to sell? My box dimensions are 40" x 14" x 16". Thanks!

How much power is that good for? I want to set the gains on my 1200 watts RMS amp with that, will it work?

    Question About Sub Box Size

Yeah I'm not sure why I didn't do it this way in the first place lol. Here's V3 (rear firing subs) and V4 (upward firing subs). This is going to go into the back of a minivan so what do y'all think, subs facing the back or facing up? The box will be against the rear seats. Thanks! V3 -...

    Question About Sub Box Size

Thanks man! I think I'm going to make a quick change to that one so that there's fewer (or none) 180 degree port turns. Should be less air resistance with 90 degree turns.

    Question About Sub Box Size

Well I'm done version 2 so let me know what you guys think is best overall! Each chamber has a net volume of 1.28 ft^3 so a total net of 2.56 ft^3 minus bracing. Again tuned to 34 Hz. Port dimensions for this is 12.50" H * 1.664" W * 33.37" L for each port. This one has nearly 2 extra inches of...

    Question About Sub Box Size

That's a good suggestion but I think I'll get a lot of port noise if I narrow the port

    Question About Sub Box Size

Shieettt, I didn't think it'd make a difference. Back to the drawing board I guess. There's not enough room to move the two subs together so I'm going to have to figure out how to make two ports and perhaps divide both subs into their own spaces. Google SketchUp.

    Audio Setup - Help

Yeah it could be the line out converter. I'd say go with the AudioControl LC6i or the Clarion.

    First set up

Get the GM-D9601 amp instead. I just bought one and will be running it at 1200 WRMS @ 1 ohm.

    Question About Sub Box Size

Alright I think I'm finally done! So this should be tuned to 34 Hz, with an net volume of 2.55 ft^3. My goal was 2.6 ft^3 but I'm happy with this. I'm probably going to add a bit more bracing so as long as I'm over 2.3 cubes I'm happy. Also double baffled the front. I did not remove 0.75" from...

    Question About Sub Box Size

Thanks guys. I think my biggest worry about going ported was how to tune a box and how to have the right box volume. After creating this thread I found a video that taught me how to design a ported box with proper tuning and volume using WinISD. Watching that definately gave me a better...
