Does anyone know about a budget brand from Pioneer called Trance? I was in an electronics store earlier today and saw 6x9's, 6 1/2's, 5 1/4's, 4's and tweeters all in boxes that look exactly like Pioneer boxes; and of course the speakers themselves look identical as well. Well i suppose that all depends on WHICH MP3 players it will accept. If it accepts any MP3 player which Windows recognizes as a Mass Storage device, then i suppose any MP3 player will work. If will only accept an iPod, then i guess you're stuck with only that.

I've seen some people doing this in the past and it makes me wonder how their HU's havn't been fried by now. Is there anything i need to know as fas as how they may be connecting them? For example, this one guy had a JVC head unit (50Wx4) and he had two 6 1/2" speakers and two 1/2" tweeters...

lol you sound like my cousin. He has an 04 WRX Yeah, it's only a 2.0, and mine is only a 1.5, but when you're paying $4.30us/gal it really matters.

With the cost of gas these days, i was just wondering if anyone has paid attention to how much mileage their vehicle is getting... just out of curiosity. My 2001 Corolla gets around 35mpg which i'm very happy about.

This HU is around 3 years old now and it's starting to skip a lot, regardless of which CD i put in it. It's really a shame because this unit has a built-in 7-band EQ which allows me to tailor the sound just the way i like it. And the quality isn't bad at all either. Anyways, i'm not going to...
