Potholes are the no goods. My friend broke 3 rims hitting a pothole in his truck. The first time he hit it it broke one of his rims. He got them replaced and two weeks later his friend was driving the truck and hit the same pothole and broke both the rims on the passenger side.

There was a pretty long thread about the mlks were people were running the same amount of power as you and said the same thing. So they put more power to them and they said they kept gettig better and better. I heard a set running 500x2 and they were pretty intense.

I would get the P-6000 also. I originally wanted the 4000 also because of its simplicity, but ended up with the 5000 because of how much better the display looked and the features it had for the extra $20. Wish I would have gotten the 6000 instead, but I cheaped out on the H/U.

I didn't have a good area in my door, so I mounted them under the rear seat of my truck. Makes it easier to get to them also than having to pull the door panel off because mine is a pain.

How do you like your towers? I want to build a set like that just for the hell of it. I want a tower from floor to roof, but I want it to sound awesome and not just look awesome.

Hertz has some shallow mounts. Not sure on the price, but they have unbelievably thin ones.

What he said. No H/U will put out enough power to get some sound out of those speakers. Wiring up an amp is a simple task if you are already putting in speakers anyways. You can mount your amp under either of the front seats or put it somewhere out of the way in the trunk.
