i love a good prelude build . im building an 89 4ws prelude si my self .

i was looking at the Boss L12 outcast line .any thoughts on this sub?

my amp is a UL3000 .it puts out about 2700 watts rms,and has 6-40amp fuses.it has beat the crap out of anything that i have put on it. and when i say cheap i mean something that will get the job done without having to go the JLw7 route .the car is an 89 honda prelude si 4ws

anyone know of any good cheap 12" subs that will run 1000 to 1500 watts rms?

i use a jigsaw for holes and a skill saw for the strait cuts . i used a chainsaw one time though it worked in a pinch .

i had one of the old school cheap pioneer 12's in a 2.5 ported box the 12's had the 400 watt on the dust cap and that thing rocked hard. so its all about the box and how much power you have .i had my amp's gain at 1/4 so it was getting about 1000 watts

that is an alpine problem .i have that same problem with mine .i asked all the car audio places that sell alpine products about this when i got my alpine ,and they said that its a built in safety feature so cant overload your tweeters .it is a pain in the a** ,but i have had my alpine headunit...
