    its engine noise also known as alternator whine. its an easy fix to do.. all you have to do is ground the rca's on the back of the radio. or buy a ground loop isolator

    the a3000db is a fairly good amp for its price. i have seen it push up to six 12" subwoofers with no problem. and the rms on the cvx is like 750. so i dont see why it wouldnt.and the smell is probly going from the subwoofer breaking in period

    id say check around local pawnshops in your area to see if they have one.

    well i havent checked to see if the amp shuts off. but i ran the meter on the subs and there both runnings at 2ohm each. there ran together into one channel but not bridged

    i have an alpine iva-w200 i can tell its clipping because my subs just shut off but if i turn the car off then turn it back on its okay... till i turn the volume back up

    i have 0 gauge runnings to my distrubution block then 2x 4 guage wire running into the amp.

    i got an orion hcca-d5000 amplifer and it clips if i go higher than volume 8. i have two kicker 12" l7 solobarics wired down to 2 ohm a piece. any ideas whats causing it?
