What other peoples settings are is irrelevant. You need to adjust the crossover and bass boost to what you like. And the gain needs to be set to what your subs can handle cleanly.

I was just wondering why no one likes Kenwood amps? Because I need an amp for my subs and I already have a kenwood 4 channel powering my components and I was thinking about getting another Kenwood for my sub. But, everyone says stay away but not really why. Just curious, thanks.

Whats the point in upgrading the chasis to engine wire? How does this effect your sound system? Or is it more to help the elctrical system in the car and doesn't really help the sound system? And if this is true is it realy necesary for a smaller system? For example mine; I'm running 3 amps...
