I just recently put a new system in my truck built around a Kenwood KDC-X889 head unit. Am thinking of picking up a Kenwood Music Keg and was looking for input from current or previous owners of the system to see what their likes/dislikes are or were.
I know that Kenwood has discontinued the...
http://www.ultimate-sounds.com is listed on the CDT website as a Authorized CDT Dealer. I spoke to Terry at Ultimate the other day and she was very polite & helpful. I'll probably be ordering some CL 62i's from them as they have a good sale going on some of the CDT component line.
That's encouraging news I guess - now all you have to do is get a decent website as the one you have now sucks major ***. If you're serious about selling car audio online, you need a site that makes a prospective buyer have some confidence in buying from you - not one that makes a buyer think -...
Just got off the phone with CDT - they said that alteraudiousa.com has applied for CDT Authorized Dealer status but has not been approved so any CDT products purchased through alteraudio would currently have NO CDT warranty coverage.
Looks like UltimateSounds.com is who I'm buying my CDT comp...
Sorry about the "spam" comment - I didn't know this site let people advertise their websites thru links in their signatures & such. I'll give CDT a call tomorrow & ask them about alteraudio as they are not listed as a authorized dealer on CDT's site.
By the way, alteraudios website...
Thanks for the link flakko but I don't think they are an authorized CDT dealer. If I'm gonna throw my cash at someone, I want the 3yr CDT factory warranty to be good.
What's with the Spam?
Yeah, I thought everyone would of heard of that by now - from the look of their e-Bay feedback and other ratings, there's an awful lot of pissed-off people out there who never got the stuff they payed for.
Now, back to my original question.
Has anyone bought anything thru http://www.ultimate-sounds.com ? If so, what was your experience? Was checking out their prices on CDT Audio component sets and the prices are really good on some models.
The CDT website listed them as an authorized internet dealer so they must be the real...
Thanks for the e-Bay link Audiolife but if I'm gonna spend the $, I'm not gonna buy any used stuff and definately want to stay with a 6.5" component set for the front.
The advice you guys are giving on using better stuff makes sense - have tweaked my budget and here is my new wish list.
Head Unit - Pioneer DEH-P77DH
Front Speakers - Boston Acoustics SL60 6-1/2" Component System
Front Amplifier - Hifonics Zeus ZX4000 - 100 Watts x 2 chan. @ 4 Ohms
Rear Sub...
Thanks for the replys but the only ones I'm trying to impress are myself and my lady - not the neighbors as I drive by. I'm just trying to build a decent budget system that sounds great and will last at mid-level volume levels - I'm not trying to win a competition here. I just want to know if...
Hey Everyone! I'm new here to CA.com - found the site while searching for suggestions on components to replace the stock stereo in my 96 Silverado Extended Cab Pickup. I have an idea of a system & components to use and would like to hear what you knowledgeable folks thought of it. As to...
