The SX would have more SPL but the SE has more SQ. That box is too big for a sealed SE though, so the SX might be more fitting. Not to mention the SE's RMS rating is 600

That would be a good deal... if his amp did somewhere around 2000 watts instead of 1000. If it were me, I would go with an RE SX in a SS(snailshell) enclosure. An SS enclosure will give you great SQ while boosting the SPL in all frequencies. If you need a design for a SS enclosure, IM me at...
