Whatever the max RMS rating is for any of the W3 series, whether it be the a 10 ,12 or the 13, don't exceed it by anything more than 100 RMS. Ive had a few W3's in the day so you can take my word on it.
Only thing I can possibly recommend is looking at a JL 12W1v2......although sealed still takes 1.25. If that makes you uncomfortable than your only other legit option would be looking for a shallow mount sub. Lots of companies are offering them these days just look around. Not many people are...

To answer your question "are they worth anything"................yes they would be worth alot to the right person, as in someone who's knows there background which seems to be rare these days.

I'm in a rut. I need to slice through about 1 or 2 layers of fiberglass and I'm not sure what to use. Also I have rounded corners that need to be cut.
Worse case scenario I'll just keep them straight edge.

I think Rockford has just lost there previous good name. I look at Rockford as the meat n potatoes brand. There not good there not bad but if you just want somethin rather than nothin, it's an option.
