whats up guys, i just bought a amp kit and wanted to know the best way to crimp on ring terminals to 4 gauge wires?

i appreciate the replies..but i guess my question is more along the lines of..should i cut the existing wire and connect the end of that to the remote turn on OR tap into the existing wire with the remote turn on?

whats up guys, this is my first install and im stuck at one step involving the remote turn on..i know which wire it is(i found the blue and white wire) but dont know exactly how to connect it to the remote wire. do i have to tap solder into it? or is it okay to just cut it, strip it, and crimp...
