DC Power makes great alts. Yes, they can take some time to get in/get to you, but it's worth it IMO. And are you complaining that they actually answered your phone call and were honest with you instead of not being at work because they are short on parts?

Mine shipped out and should be here by Wednesday. I've heard nothing but good things about their product itself, it just seems like some people have to wait awhile. So, if you don't mind waiting, they are definitely worth checking out.

DC Power took from 9/16 until 10/20 to ship my alt out. I've heard a longish wait is kind of standard with them, but they have a great product. Just something to keep in mind.

I ordered my DC alt on 9/16 and it hasn't shipped yet. A lot less of a wait than I have heard of, though.
