Ok, so here's a question I don't know the answer to.. should I be aiming for a 1 or 2 ohm dc on the hdc15? if I had the 1.3k, at 2ohm its only 600w. obviously at 1ohm its 1.3kw. the 1.8k would be better at 2 ohm for 900w, but again 1.8k at 1ohm mono. Which would be the better option? 1ohm runs...

Gotcha. My other problem tho, is not finding a volume requirement for it.. Hard to try and plan for it if I don't have the space from the get go because it needs like 5ft^3 or something ridiculous. Still waiting to work out a box anyway with stang, since I don't have trunk measurements. :/

Ok so, the spec comparrison between the FU and the hdc15 is pretty damned close, with the hdc a higher watt rms sud and 3" vc instead of 2.5". The price difference is what, 100$? not the end of the world. The car already has a solid optima yellow top in it, I can't remember the class/model but...

Yeah, the STi are stock 95. the WRX and imprezza's are both 85 lol

For a correction there, it's not a stock alternator. The stock one for these is 95A. Mine is 115A. Granted, not that much of an increase.. but an increase none the less. The big three has been ordered, and will be done when system gets installed. Pretty sure the amp power will be 0ga as well.

I think I might stick with the single 15 route, but am more than happy to pm you once I can. I haven't done it yet due to lack of measurements(car is in the shop)
