Those caps look fine to me.. The heat deforms the plastic tops over time. Nothing to worry about. Now if you can't push the top of the caps down flat, and they feel like the metal under the top has puffed up. Or if they are leaking they should be replaced..

Probably would be alright. As long as your subs are dual 4 ohm wired down to 1 ohm. 1500 watts would be more than the subs are rated for. (600 watts each)

All the Usamps 1000x amps i've seen are all 2 ohm stable. Not sure why yours says 1ohm. Typo?

It would be worth fixing it yourself. Where are the popped caps located? near the pos/negative terminals? You could try and replace just the capacitors that have popped. You may get lucky..You may not. The power supply transistors could be fried. Most amps do have reverse polarity protection...

sometimes you can get lucky and change out the blown parts and the amp will work.. but most of the time you have to get more in depth and find the problem. you need to know what the amp does and how it works before you can do advanced repairs. or you can just replace everything you can identify...

You cant just replace the burnt parts and expect it to work. There are other parts that are hooked to those burnt parts that need to be checked and replaced as well. If the power supply went poof, you will need to check all the gate resistors , gate drive transistors and the power supply...
