does your amp have the input to just tap into the speakers and it will take the low sounds and put them into the amp?

oh also the amps are really almost similar one is just a newer model of the old one

130 amp will be plenty for what your setup is and also 4 gauge is also plenty if you have a problem with your lights dimming then remember every 1000 watts you need a 1 farad capasitor and so on so forth

alpine head unites are not good a lot of them had problems with the ipod hookups sell it and go with something like pioneer

avoid the sony 1200 watt amp

awful as in rattles everything rattles and it is distorted

ok each amp is running one sub there are two that are really closley identical one is the mrp-1000 and the other amp is the mrp-m850 they are really similar but not exactly the same the 850 is basically the same model and we had each amp going to one sub then we had the subs interconectted as in...

I have the m-1000 from alpine and it is 1000 watts rms at 2 ohms because I have 2 type r's and it runs one of them and I know the x series is **** good so I would go with that but it is a mono amp so don't get it if you plan to run more than that one sub
