The 50 farad cap i have is an older Stinger with digital display. It looks like a big metal box with the blue display in the middle. Does it serve a purpose? Eh maybe, it's debatable. The auxillary switch is for a standalone DVD player and PS2. Thanks for the input so far.

so far the alternator is good, no issues there. I do have a Stinger 50 farad cap, so maybe that could be the cuprit. Also will check the isolators again as well. Also if the auxilary button is/was contantly on, would that stop the battery from charging while the car is on?

I have one. It works well, no complaints, but extra batteries are a better investment.
