you may have trouble if the radio is a newer theftlock radio... the newer ones are all vin coded - this means that the radio looks to the cars computer to make sure it is ok to turn on. If the vin is the same as the one it's been locked to it will function. you may get it to turn on, but it...

take your multimeter, a cd, and 2 wires about 1 ft long. connect the deck's red and yellow wire together and to the pos terminal on your car battery and the black to the negative terminal using the foot long wires. once the deck turns on, put the cd in... use your meter to measure ac voltage on...
