Metrick MAB-901 1900-watt Monoblock Mosfet Amplifier | Overstock.com It's not a namebrand amp, but It was given to me, and it beat my old amp, so I'm sticking with it, I'm sure it pushes less than it states, but still more than the subs were rated for, so just curious.

Those Rockfords, would it hurt pushing them with a 1900W amp?

I've got roughly $160 to work with right now, need 2 12's. I have a Metrik MAB901 1900Watt amp. (950Watts/One Channel @2Ohm.) Just wondering what some good budget subs that would match with that amp would be. I've already got a ported box for the subs, as well. Thanks for any help.

K, the person who was going to buy the Kickers bought some from somebody else, so sticking with them for now I suppose. I checked, for the ones who were asking, they are 4 ohm.

I actually don't know. When I bought them, I just went in knowing absolutely nothing about car audio, so didn't know anything about ohms or anything. I think it says on the bottom of the sub, so I can look tomorrow. I will most likely take it to CKR (The local car electronics shop :p )...
