    well, the rewire was at the Hu, not at the amp in the back with the crossover.... Thanx for all the quick responses and help guys, special thanks to skadude, you rock man!

    GOTTER-DONE fellas!!! well, turns out, buddys of mine thought it would be cute to pull on my wires to my amp.. well, the crossover and amp ground were lose, causing a bad ground connection. Got it all done!!! thanx for all the help guys!!!
